Katerina Tsibouraki is a self-taught pyrographic artist living in Athens, Greece.
Born on 7. 6. 1969 in Thessaloniki, Greece, she is a teacher of German Literature and owner of AKTO Internal and External Decoration Degree.
Katerina has been burning on wood since 1998. She has participated in many exhibitions, both personal and in groups, where she has been distinguished for her unique and unusual work.
She is the first pyro-artist that added colour in pyrography (since 2001). Her work has been displayed at art shows, having won many awards and critical acclaim.
Katerina has an unconditional love for nature. She specializes in ships, sea, ports, buildings, flowers. However, her art is not limited to these fields alone. All pieces are unique and signed by Mrs. Tsibouraki herself. She does both monochrome and coloured works.
Her most recent endeavors are completely unique worldwide as they combine pyrography with iconography; a combination like no other as you can get a taste of in this website.
